Coburg FAQs

The studio Address is -Level 1,430 Sydney Road, Coburg-3058. However, the studio entrance is from Russell Street (parallel to Sydney Road). There is Russell Street car Park right in front of studio entrance with 506 parking spaces (all day and 3P).

If you are using public Transport, Coburg train station is approximately 500m away. Tram19(stop 34) for the clients using Tram.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to your first class. This will give instructor enough time to show you the studio, washrooms and give a quick rundown on how to use a reformer.

Our reformers have weight limit of 120Kgs.

Any activewear that you would normally wear to a yoga class or a gym session. We recommend tights, leggings or shorts. You won’t require footwear for the class, grippy/non slip socks are optional.

We provide drinking water, and have changing facilities on site. We have washrooms and a shower (please bring your own bath towel).

Exercise is a very personal thing. How often you train will depend on your fitness level, how your body responds to the workouts, lifestyle and your personal goals. Our instructors would be happy to assist you with these questions.

You can change your booking online or through the Wellness Living app, up until 8 hours prior to your booked class.

Block passes/monthly passes/ Intro offer/Privates/ Weekly 2 or 3 class membership: We have an 8-hour cancellation window – cancelling within this 8-hour window will result in your class being forfeited. If you are a No-show to your class, your pass will also be forfeited.

 

All unlimited class memberships: Members will be charged $5 late cancellation fee. Classes cannot be rescheduled in the 8-hour cancellation window. No-Show fee for members is $10.

If a pre-existing client gets pregnant, they can continue to attend classes regularly up to 13 weeks, After 13 weeks they would be able to attend Reformer Open (mamma friendly), mums & bubs classes and Privates only. They would also be required to provide a clearance certificate from their GP. If you are new to Reformer Pilates, we recommend joining after the first trimester.

Please wait until you have received the all clear from your 6-week check-up and inform the instructor when attending your first class postnatal. Recommended class types would be: Mums & Bubs, Reformer Open (mamma friendly) and Reformer Open.

It will depend on your injury and the level of restriction. You may need to get a medical certificate from your GP. We do offer Reformer Slow classes which are designed to run at a slower pace, modifications are provided to cater to your personal needs. We also offer Privates, where a class can be modified completely to work around your injuries/personal goals. With a maximum of 10 clients per class, our small group classes can get booked out. You can add yourself to the waitlist for that class by booking yourself into the class as you would normally. Once you add yourself to a wait list, you’ll receive an email confirmation of your request. When a place becomes available in the class you will be notified via sms or email. The waitlists do move pretty quick, so there is a good chance that you will receive a place in the class of your choice if you are on the waitlist. You will not be charged until you receive a spot in the class.

We do not charge any transaction fee. However please ensure that there are sufficient funds in your account before purchasing a pass / on the day of your scheduled direct debit. The merchant processor PAYCHOICE charges $4.40 dishonor fee for each failed transaction

Redeem a gift card from Client Web App

  • Copy the gift card code
  • On the top menu click My Profile
  • Click the Billing tab
  • Under Daily Deal or Gift Card Redemption code, enter the gift card code
  • Click Submit your gift card code and any associated deal will be entered and applied to your account

You are not allowed to bring your baby or young children to the studio as we do not provide child care services and for the safety of your loved ones, we cannot have them unattended in the studio. However, you can bring your baby to Mums & Bubs (or child up to crawling age and must be in a capsule) classes, as the number of participants in this class format is less and the instructor can assist with the babies.

We start our classes with a warm up. The instructor reserves the right to refuse entry to the class if you are more than 5 minutes late. This is for your own safety and to minimize class disruption for the other clients.

You need to be at least 16 years or older.

  • Please arrive at least 5 minutes early for you booked session. We do understand life happens at times.
  • Our studio is a shoe free zone, please place your shoes in the shoe rack provided.
  • We recommend bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated (can be refilled at the studio) and a gym towel.
  • If you have any concerns, sore spots, new injuries, early pregnancies etc., please inform the instructor before the class starts, so they can provide appropriate modifications.
